What is companionship?

We all need help from time-to-time and as we age, tasks generally get much harder. Social care is for individuals who need a scheduled helping hand. This could be anything from:

Assistance to GP or hospital appointments
Accessing the wider community
Visiting your favourite place
Attending a local group or meeting
Company at home to play a favourite board game, do some crafts or just sit and chat
Support attending social events

Why choose A&B Healthcare?

No matter whether you require one visit a week or 24 hour live-in care, we can provide all of our services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Furthermore, we recognise the importance of the services we deliver. This means all of our staff are highly trained and where possible we always try to ensure individuals can expect to see the same carer every time, allowing them to form a close bond. This also allows the carer to become more aware of any changes in the patients health and wellbeing.

How does companionship work

The first step is to undertake an assessment with one of highly experienced supervisors. They will sit down with the individual and understand their requirements and needs and develop a plan to provide them with the care needed.
